BVMC Engineers
• BVMC Research Institute founded in 1980, is the R&D team of BVMC. With more than 30yrs research and design experience, it consists of a series of research laboratory including general valve lab, butterfly valve lab, special valve lab, standard information research lab, valve technology research lab and archive keeping lab, which is the secondary R&D institute of original National Mechanical Department.
• 4 senior engineers and 84 technicians, several of them are the National Standardization Committee members.
• It is identified as the valve technology research center by Beijing Municipal Government. The advanced product development and design software system, such as CAD and CAM are widely applied, and the research center of product modeling, finite element analysis and fluid dynamics analysis has been built based on the Solidworks software system.

Advanced Manufacturing
The latest computer technologies are also widely applied in BVMC for valve manufacturing. It includes a large number of numeric control machines (Machining center, CNC horizontal and vertical lathe, CNC drilling machine) and ERP management system which significantly improved our machining quality and process control. BVMC also employs a number of conventional lathes with capacity up to machine60inch gate valve. BVMC manufacturing philosophy is to ensure stable quality and in time delivery.
Quality Control
“Continuous improvement and zero defects” is BVMC’s eternal quality policy and objective. Based on international and domestic industrial standards and customer requirements, we set up higher internal quality assurance standards to implement comprehensive and full quality management. BVMC has a world-class testing center that enables us to independently complete all tests by ourselves, from product prototype tests to final inspection. The inspection and tests are as the following:
• NDE (RT,PT,MT,UT )
• Chemical analysis test,
• Physical test (impact test, Tensile test, Bending test)
• Fire test
• Cryogenic test
• High temperature test
• Vacuum test
• Fugitive emission test
• Pressure test(Shell test, Hydraulic test, Air test)
• Visual inspect
• Dimensional inspect

From raw materials to finished products BVMC effectively controls each process. In addition, BVMC actively employs 6 Sigma within the whole company to implement our “zero defects” program. Through advanced statistical analysis we continue to improve process control and management capability.
